Field Designer in “Beta” Status & More Now Available in Aleyant eDocBuilder’s Latest Release
Field Designer in “Beta” Status – Ready!
Field Designer, which allows you to create new templates from scratch and edit new or existing templates, is now available. The Field Designer is an interface that enables you to create new templates without using Adobe Acrobat Form Fields or InDesign. It also allows you to edit templates in a way that’s closer to how your customers interact with them on your website.
Previously in “Tech Preview” status, Field Designer is now in “Beta” status, and all the Field Setup functions are available. We would like your feedback about this exciting new capability within eDocBuilder. Add comments below or send an email to email@example.com.
Enhanced Color Palettes
In eDocBuilder, you can use Color Palettes to create multiple custom palettes that you can selectively utilize throughout your templates. Why create a custom color palette? One option would be to limit the colors a user is able to select (to only those available in your printing process, for example), or to provide your users a predefined list of colors to ensure consistent design results. Palettes can be made up of CMYK, RGB, Spot Colors, and Grayscale colors. Each text field within a template can be assigned to any one of the palettes you define.
We have enhanced the Color Palettes function in this release to improve the color selection process and redesigned the Color Palettes list page so that it is now like the Templates list page.
eDocBuilder Orders Tab Improved
The Orders tab in eDocBuilder displays a tabular view of all current orders. We have improved the Orders tab interface by making it more compact and responsive. We enhanced the scrolling and you’ll also notice that it’s easier to read.
