Business Cards Express
Marc Forest, Vice President at Business Card Express, spent 35 years in the world of commercial print. Business Card Express’ owner, Carl Lehmann, brought Forest on board in 2015 to help the company enter the world of web-to-print. “The industry took a hit in 2008,” Forest says, “and many smaller printers went out of business. Carl saw the need to take the company to a more modern infrastructure that could o er 24/7, anytime/anywhere access, making it easier for our trade customers and large organizations to get the products they need – quickly, accurately and a ordably.” In looking for a solution, Forest was determined not to purchase any silo-based solutions.
Blue Octopus was looking for a robust print procurement solution to support a project with a Midwestern state. The solution needed to efficiently handle fast turnaround work submitted through a web-to-print catalog, as well as custom printing from a single, user-friendly interface. It needed to be able to manage an extensive list of catalog jobs as well as transparently manage vended-out work that fell outside of the defined set of standard products. Vended work required three quotes to meet the State’s requirements.
When Parksons Graphics introduced digital print to the mix in 2012 with the acquisition of an HP Indigo 5600, the company realized it needed to streamline operations to be able to more profitably handle the shorter run digital work and to make it easier for customers to place orders online. This initiated a search for a web-to-print application that could meet these needs.
British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT)

Simple Solutions Print and Marketing
Simple Solutions Printing, located in West Frankfort, IL, was founded by Tim Grigsby in 1993. The company has grown organically over the ensuing years to include offset and digital printing, a complete sign shop, and embroidery and screen printing for apparel. Simple Solutions has continued to expand its infrastructure and offerings to accommodate new customer requirements and new business opportunities.
Founded in 2011 with a single restaurant in Strasbourg, France, Bagelstein specializes in delivering healthy food in a fun environment. Founded by two entrepreneurs, the business expanded to three restaurants and in excess of €1 million in revenues in its first year. After attending the Franchise Exposition in Paris in 2012, Bagelstein rapidly began adding franchise stores and has grown to 45 restaurants across France and one in Luxembourg, with plans to more than double the number of stores by the end of 2016 with expansion within France and internationally.
In 2006, entrepreneurs New Jersey Kelly Easterling and Preston Hunt were feeling in the Christmas spirit when they decided to start a business aimed at helping Santa communicate personally with children.
